We are thrilled to share an enchanting chapter of our students’ journey with you – a delightful visit to the vibrant coastal city of Brighton in England. As the summer days unfolded, our international students embarked on an unforgettable adventure, exploring the rich history and modern charm of this captivating destination.
The journey began with excitement and anticipation as our students set foot in Brighton, a city renowned for its stunning coastline, artistic culture, and iconic landmarks. Their first stop was the majestic Brighton Pavilion, a breathtaking architectural gem. The Pavilion’s exquisite fusion of Indian and Chinese-inspired designs left our young learners in awe, and they marvelled at the opulence and grandeur of the building’s exterior.
Some groups, venturing inside, were transported to a bygone era, captivated by the elegant interiors adorned with intricate details and lavish furnishings. As they delved into the history of the Pavilion and its association with King George IV, they gained insights into the city’s rich royal heritage.
The next stop on their exciting itinerary was the remarkable British Airways i360. Towering 162 meters above the sea, this observation tower offered an unrivalled panoramic view of Brighton’s stunning coastline and the surrounding landscape. Some students were treated to a bird’s-eye view of the city, witnessing the majestic waves crashing against the shore and the picturesque Brighton Pier standing proudly on the horizon.
The experience atop the i360 was nothing short of magical, as they took in the breathtaking vistas that stretched as far as the eye could see. For many of our international students, this was their first encounter with such breathtaking scenery, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
However, what truly made this excursion unforgettable was the camaraderie and sense of togetherness that permeated throughout the day. Our students, hailing from different corners of the globe, connected effortlessly, forming bonds that transcended borders and languages. Sharing laughter, stories, and cultural insights, they celebrated their differences while embracing their shared passion for exploration and adventure.
As the sun began to set over the horizon, our students bid farewell to the beautiful city of Brighton, carrying with them cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Their visit to the Pavilion and the i360 embodied the spirit of cultural exchange and personal growth that defines the Manor Courses experience.
Brighton’s allure had left an indelible impression on our international students, and they returned to our language camp with hearts full of wonder and gratitude.
